FREE SHORTCAKES AND ROSES
all mothers to receive complimentary Fresh Strawberry Shortcake and a rose
What: Burgerville, the chain of 39 quick service restaurants in the Pacific Northwest, will honor all mothers who visit any of their restaurants on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 11, by offering them a complimentary Fresh Strawberry Shortcake and a rose. Shortcakes and roses will be available while supplies last.
While the complimentary shortcake for Mom is a one-day offering, Fresh Strawberry Shortcakes are a special seasonal menu item at Burgerville, which uses only fresh berries available from late March through the end of June.
Special red heart gift cards are also available for purchase at a minimum of $5 and can be redeemed at any Burgerville location.

The Sunset Burgerville at 1245NW 185th Avenue, Aloha continues to celebrate Earth Day Every Day. Come and join us as Burgerville launches a new community event: a plastic round-up. Stop by for a bite to eat and drop off your unwanted plastic items for recycling. You don’t need to pre-sort them by number! Agri-Plas will pickup all items around 3:00pm.
What goes in the Round Up?
- Plastic strawberry containers
- Plastic bags (dry cleaning, grocery store sacks, bubble wrap, cereal liners, mylar, six pack rings, tortilla chip bags)
- Plant containers and trays (please knock dirt out ahead of time)
- Miscellaneous plastic items: Bottle caps, drink lids, DVD’s, CD’s, CD cases, straws, lawn/patio furniture, kids’ toys, pet igloos, laundry baskets, kiddy pools and more
- Buckets
- Anything that is plastic that you don’t know what to do with

Burgerville, known for its fresh food and its commitment to sustainability, is recognizing Earth Day with recycled bookmarks including information about what you can do for the planet. Children will also receive coloring pages designed by a local artist describing Earth Day and the benefits of planting trees in the community. Learn More
