BURGERVILLE CELEBRATES THE RETURN OF MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER WITH TRIBUTE TIMBER JOEY MILKSHAKES AND SMOOTHIES
Buy-One-Get-One on Opening Day, Mon., March 12
Vancouver, Wash. (March 5, 2012) – Once again, Burgerville is showing its team spirit with the return of its Timber Joey Milkshake, created in honor of the Major League Soccer (MLS) team, the Portland Timbers, and its lumberjack mascot, Timber Joey. The Timber Joey Milkshake — as well as Timber Joey Smoothies— will return on March 12 and be offered as a buy-one-get-one-free item on opening day.
“We are proud to be a founding partner of the Timbers and look for every opportunity to support the team’s efforts, both off and on the field,” said Cathy Miller, director of marketing for Burgerville. “Burgerville, along with our guests, is eager for the upcoming season and looks forward to the excitement the team brings to our community.”
The Timber Joey Milkshake and Smoothies were created in celebration of the Portland Timbers and are tribute menu items named after the team’s mascot. The green treat features OREO Cookies and mint with Sunshine Dairy ice cream or YoCream nonfat frozen yogurt.
