Burgerville Guests will help EarthShare Thursday, April 19th

“Feed the Earth” on Thursday by eating at any Burgerville; purchases benefit 90+ environmental nonprofits

VANCOUVER, Wash. (April 3, 2012) On Thursday, April 19th, eating at Burgerville won’t just feed you; it will also feed 90+ environmental nonprofits around the Pacific Northwest. For anyone who visits any of Burgerville’s 38 locations on Thursday, April 19th, Burgerville will donate a percentage of sales to EarthShare Oregon and EarthShare Washington to fund environmental nonprofit member groups who protect places for wildlife, keep people healthy, and reduce global warming.
Additionally, Burgerville cardholders who make a purchase before 11 a.m. with their rewards card will generate another five cents for EarthShare.

Burgerville’s partnership day is just one way Burgerville gives back to EarthShare; its 1,200+ employees have donated tens of thousands of dollars to EarthShare and its members this year through Burgerville’s employee giving campaign. That campaign makes it easy for any Burgerville worker to give to EarthShare, United Way, and Work for Art.

“Burgerville strives to find innovative ways to promote a sustainable community, and a sustainable environment, making our partnership with EarthShare a natural fit,” said Jeff Harvey, president and CEO of Burgerville. “Earthshare works to connect people and organizations with effective ways to support critical environmental causes and we are honored to contribute to their efforts.”
