To celebrate our 65th birthday, we are serving up blasts from the past all year long. We put out a call to you, our loyal guests, and asked what Burgerville menu items you missed the most. When the results came in, the Lime Frosty was a clear fan-favorite!
This tangy treat thrived in the 1970’s and many of our guests recalled slurping one down after a soccer game, swimming lessons, or a night at the roller rink. Brain freeze-inducing and sure to give you a green tongue, this sweet-sour drink was a summer staple for years.
When we made the commitment to serve up clean, locally sourced ingredients, green food dye and high fructose corn syrup were off the menu. So, we said the difficult goodbye to this beloved frosty.
Now, we are bringing back the nostalgic taste with better ingredients. Our new Lime Frosty Shake blends tart limeade with our creamy real ice cream for a refreshing sip. Try it with our plant-based coconut ice cream for a tropical twist on this old favorite. You can still taste the summer memories in this rich and dreamy shake!
